Data deletion
Kenyan Charades has no user account, so there is no account to delete. You can still stop optional collection, remove data stored locally, and request deletion of off-device data that we can reasonably identify and control.
Stop optional collection
Open Settings → Privacy in Kenyan Charades and turn off each available sharing control. Depending on your app version, these can include Product Analytics, Detailed Play Diagnostics and Crash Reports.
- Turning off Product Analytics stops new Analytics collection and resets Firebase Analytics data for the app on the device.
- Turning off Detailed Play Diagnostics stops new diagnostic collection and clears queued first-party diagnostic events for that category.
- Turning off Crash Reports disables Crashlytics collection and requests deletion of unsent crash reports on the device.
Delete local app data
- Delete individual Highlight clips using the controls available in your app version.
- Clear Kenyan Charades storage in Android Settings to remove app-private settings, local statistics, queues, session state and local Highlight files.
- Uninstall the app to remove its app-private storage, subject to Android platform behaviour.
Kenyan Charades disables Android app backup, so the app does not intentionally place its private data into Android cloud backup.
Voluntary Feedback and Suggestions
Current Early Access builds can send anonymous Help and game-result Feedback or Suggestions when you choose to submit them. Unsent reports are kept in the app's private retry queue; reports older than 89 days are purged when the app next accesses that queue. Clearing the app's data removes the local queue. Accepted server records and any text-bearing moderation copies are subject to the approved deletion process within 90 days. See the Privacy Policy for the current service and retention details.
Because there are no accounts or persistent identity profiles, an email address alone may not identify the anonymous submission you made. Avoid putting personal information into text fields. For a report that has reached our servers, contact support with the submission identifier if you have a record of it; we cannot guarantee an individual record can be located if there is no usable identifier. We will assess requests as required by applicable law.
Request deletion of off-device data
Email kenyancharades@gmail.com with the subject Kenyan Charades data deletion request.
Tell us which data or interaction you are asking about and roughly when it occurred. Do not send passwords, payment details, government IDs, Highlight media or other sensitive documents unless we specifically explain why they are necessary.
Retention
Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics records are retained according to the active Firebase project settings and Google's applicable service terms. Kenyan Charades does not maintain a separate account-linked copy of those provider records in the current release. Support correspondence is kept only as long as reasonably necessary to respond, secure the service, keep an appropriate record or meet legal obligations.
