These terms apply to the current Kenyan Charades Early Access release and this public website.
Using the game
Kenyan Charades is a social party game intended for people aged 13 and over. You may use the app for personal, non-commercial play and ordinary group/game-night use, subject to applicable law and the Google Play terms that apply to your download.
Early Access
Early Access exists so the game can be tested with real groups before Production. Features, decks, wording, availability and compatibility may change as bugs and usability problems are fixed. We will not deliberately advertise a disabled feature as available.
House rules
Your group may agree its own house rules before a game or before the next turn. Kenyan Charades will continue scoring according to the settings and rules implemented in the app unless the app provides a setting for the rule you agreed.
Highlights and recording other people
Highlights are optional. Before recording, make sure everyone who may appear or be heard is comfortable being recorded. You are responsible for deciding whether to share a clip and where to share it. Once you send a clip to another app or service, that recipient's terms and privacy practices apply.
Content and intellectual property
The Kenyan Charades app, original branding, illustrations, game text and software are protected by applicable intellectual-property law. You may not copy, sell, repackage or distribute substantial parts of the app or its asset library except where the law expressly allows it.
References to real places, foods, public culture, third-party brands or other external subjects remain the property/responsibility of their respective rights holders. Their appearance as game content does not imply sponsorship or endorsement.
Support and user messages
The current Early Access release does not enable in-app network submission for Suggestions or structured Feedback. If you contact support by email, you remain responsible for the material you choose to send. Please send only what is necessary for the support request.
Availability
We aim to keep the game and public support pages available, but Early Access services may be changed, interrupted or withdrawn while reliability and policy issues are addressed. Core bundled gameplay is designed to work offline after installation, but Google Play, web links and optional online services naturally require connectivity.
No guarantee of error-free Early Access
Early Access software may contain bugs. We test the game carefully, but we do not promise that every device, sensor or optional feature will behave perfectly. Nothing in these terms removes consumer rights or other rights that cannot legally be limited.
Changes to these terms
If a material change affects how the game is offered, these terms will be updated with a new effective date. Continued use after a change is subject to applicable law and any notice/consent requirements.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Kenya, while preserving any mandatory consumer protections that apply where you live.
